Fushi Yami

Fushi Yami is a small Asian restaurant located in Dekalb, Illinois. While completing my undergrad in Visual Communications I was assigned a local business to complete a brand refresh. At the time, Fushi Yami was using black and orange as their brand colors along with a thick typeface for their logo. As part of the refresh I wanted to soften the overall look and feel of the brand to match the atmosphere of the restaurant better. There was a disconnect between their marketing/ branding and the experience while dining in.
